On Monday, September 4th, Professor Ivan Ðikić from Goethe University in Frankfurt, held a lecture on “Scientific Achievements in Tumor Treatment” at the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences. In the lecture, Ivan Ðikić elaborated the possibilities and achievements in modern tumor treatment. Specific focus was placed on education, prevention and early diagnostics that would enable timely application of state-of-the-art therapy. Professor Ðikić also spoke about the key guidelines of the MedILS Tumor Biology Laboratory, where he serves as the Head of the Laboratory, and presented both the Laboratory projects and project team members.
