MedILS open call: The Creative Thinking Club
MedILS open call: The Creative Thinking Club
In order to encourage the development of new ideas, concepts and new associations between existing ideas and concepts, MedILS is proud to present The Creative Thinking Club, a programme designed to attract creative minds in the local area willing to design and take part in ambitious theoretical projects and join their efforts in igniting a creative spark in the scientific community. The vision of the programme is to encourage interdisciplinary theoretical approach to ideas that can only be described as impossible, no limits and restrictions.
The more incredible your ideas get, the more interesting they will become as it will be more challenging to discuss the issues and problems standing in the way of achieving the impossible theoretical goal.
Students, junior and senior biologists, chemists, physicists, mathematicians, software developers and engineers are especially encouraged to take part in this programme.
In addition, the equally important role of the creative thinking programme is to bring the local thinkers closer together in an informal, friendly environment of MedILS.
The theme of the first discussion will be dealing with issues and problems underlying the creation of an artificial cell. A synthetic functional unit capable of reproduction. A Scell.
The first meeting will take place at 17:00 on the 19th of December (this Friday) in the seminar room at MedILS (Meštrovićevo šetalište bb, Split) followed by a small range of refreshments.
Hoping to see you there,
MedILS
