Prof. Miroslav Radman was elected a foreign associate of the American National Academy for Science

Prof. Miroslav Radman was elected a foreign associate of the American National Academy for Science   during the 155th annual meeting of the Academy of Sciences that took place on 29th April 2018 in Washington DC, US. In 2000, American National Academy for Science and French Academy of Sciences awarded prof. Radman with the Grand Prix Richard Lounsbery for his contribution to the discovery of the molecular mechanisms implicated in the replication and repair of DNA, in particular, the discovery of a key enzyme of the DNA repair mechanism. Prof. Radman became member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2014, as well as the member of the French Academy of Sciences in 2002, and the corresponding member of Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in 1992.
