Educational facilities

MedILS is the perfect place to hold conferences, seminars, retreats, and lecture series. It offers a large lecture hall, two seminar rooms, and plenty of common areas for informal discussions.

LECTURE HALL

The main lecture hall of MedILS seats over 120 people. Complete video projection and audio facilities are available, and the hall is fully air-conditioned.

Seminar rooms

Seminar rooms provide space for about 25 people. The rooms are equipped with video projection and audio equipment.

Rooms

The hotel complex of MedILS can accommodate up to 40 people in two- and three-bed rooms. All rooms are fully air-conditioned and provide telephone and high-speed Internet access.

Catering

Three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and intermediate coffee/snacks could be organized at the Institute.

Outdoor amenities

The atrium of MedILS is designed for group work and leisure. Numerous tables and chairs are distributed around the atrium in the walkways. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the campus.

Park

MedILS is located in a private, guarded park. Numerous benches and tables are available across the campus, providing ample opportunity for outdoor group work or discussions. The park is shaded by a dense grove of pine trees and overlooks the Adriatic Sea.

SPORTS FACILITIES

MedILS has its own basketball court, table tennis and badminton equipment. In addition, the nearby Marjan state park forest offers plenty of trails for mountain-biking, hiking, and jogging and there are two cities’ beaches that can be reached in 10 minutes by foot.

Biblioteka

Rastuća MedILS-ova knjižnica posjeduje knjige i časopise iz prirodnih znanosti te standardne udžbenike iz biologije i biokemije. Osim toga, računalna su dostupna u knjižnici za pristup internetu i rad.

Informatička učionica

Informatička učionica je opremljena sa 20 Fujitsu stolnih računala koji se mogu koristiti od strane posjetitelja, sudionika radionice i studenata za rad u skupini ili prilikom praktične računalne obuke.
