The Kick Off Conference will take place as a hybrid event. The in-person part will take place at MedILS, Meštrovićevo šetalište 45, 21000 Split, Croatia. The event will also be livestreamed using ZOOM platform.

The particularity of the CREATE project is that it unites the results of existing and recently completed related projects with the aim to share the knowledge and experiences to various target groups: from regional and local authorities, development agencies, academic and business communities, non-governmental organizations, to the general public, in order to establish the appropriate measures to deal with current and expected climate changes in the Adriatic regions.

The goal of the Kick Off conference "CREATE the future we want" is to strengthen the resilience and sustainability of the local society that is facing the challenges of climate change such as the increase of air and ocean temperatures, extreme meteorological events and ocean hazards, rising sea levels, which is already evidently affecting the intensity of local floods, increasing droughts, and other expected changes that will have a strong impact on the quality of all coastal Adriatic life.
