American Academy of Arts and Sciences – Election 2015

On April 22nd 2015 the American Academy of Arts and Sciences announced election of prof. Miroslav Radman as a Foreign Honorary Member in field Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

The strength of the Academy lies in the intellectual leadership of its members and the wide range of expertise they bring to its studies and publications.

The Academy membership encompasses over 4.600 Fellows and 600 Foreign Honorary Members and reflects the full range of disciplines and professions: mathematics, the physical and biological sciences, medicine, the social sciences and humanities, business, government, public affairs, and the arts.

197 Members of the 2015 class include winners of the Nobel Prize and the Pulitzer Prize; MacArthur and Guggenheim Fellowships; and Grammy, Emmy, Oscar, and Tony Awards.

Prof. Miroslav Radman is single molecular biologist/biochemist among the 16 elected foreign members in all fields of human endeavour.
